How to blur faces in a photo
- Choose a photo, drop an image into the original pane, or paste an image from your clipboard.
- Wait for local face detection. First use downloads the detector and its runtime.
- Detected faces receive rectangles automatically. Drag a rectangle to move it, drag a corner to resize it, or choose Add area next to Replace to cover a missed face. Select a rectangle to reveal its bin button.
- Choose a covering style, use Apply on the right of the settings bar, and download the PNG after checking the result.

Check every face
Automatic detection can miss small, turned, partly hidden, or distant faces. Add a region manually when needed and check the exported image before sharing it.
Choose an appropriate covering style
Blur softens visible detail, while solid covering hides the selected pixels. Face detection and blur do not guarantee anonymity: clothing, surroundings, and other visible details can still identify someone.
